Sustainable Ideas for the Future – Sustainability Challenge 2025

On Saturday morning, more than 80 young adults from a variety of backgrounds came together at Accenture’s office in Zurich to take part in the Sustainability Innovation Challenge 2025.

The challenge tasked participants with developing, in just four hours, products or services that make life in Swiss cities more sustainable while also promoting social inclusion.

The participants had the chance to listen to two interesting Inputs by Tischlein Deck Dich and Dr. Angelika Schmid before starting the challenge. After a morning of intense teamwork, the participants presented their concepts to an audience and a panel of judges. GrüezAI stood out with their idea of bringing together generations with different backgrounds to form convenient living situations, winning the prize and earning an exclusive coaching session with Accenture. The other teams also demonstrated considerable creativity and commitment, highlighting the wide range of ideas and the potential of young talent for sustainable innovation.
