Successes, Familiar Faces and New Connections at the YES Networking Event 2026!
On the evening of Wednesday, 23 September, the annual YES Networking Event at UBS Grünenhof showcased the people and the work behind the organisation: partners, volunteers, participants, board members, staff, members, Alumni and friends of YES exchanged ideas, looked back together on the past programme year and gained an insight into the future of YES.
As an association, YES thrives on exchanges: earlier in the day, the annual general assembly and the board meeting had also taken place, during which the strategic course for the coming programme year was set. In a Volunteering Workshop, the Corporate Volunteering Team gained insights into the volunteers’ commitment and gathered feedback. And during the joint review and outlook, as well as the apéro that followed, the most important developments and successes of the past financial year were brought to life once again.
YES, What a Success: Over 12,500 Children and Youth Equipped for Their Future!
With more than 12,500 children and young people taking part, YES set a new participation record last school year, representing a 27 per cent increase on the previous year. Growth was particularly strong in the Personal Economics and Youth debate programmes. The Company Programme also attracted a record number of participants, whilst the Swiss delegation achieved its best-ever result at the International Economics Olympiad in Shenzhen.
