Swiss Delegation Competes at the International Economics Olympiad in Baku

The Swiss national team has arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan, to take part in the International Economics Olympiad (IEO), the world’s biggest competition for young talents in economics. Over nine days, students from more than 50 countries will test their skills in economics, financial literacy, and business case solving.

The IEO combines theory exams, finance quizzes, and business case presentations, challenging participants to apply their knowledge to real-world problems. The event also encourages teamwork, innovation, and exchange between bright young minds from across the globe.

This year’s delegation consists of the top students from the Economics Olympiad 2025, who earned their place on the team through outstanding results in the National Final. The delegation is set to face challenging exams and presentations over the coming days, with hopes of strong performances and possible medals in this prestigious international event.
