The Economics Olympiad Has Begun!

Young people from all over Switzerland once again have the chance to put their economic knowledge to the test – and to represent Switzerland on an international stage. The competition, held in several stages, not only offers participants a platform to showcase their skills and connect with like-minded peers, but also provides valuable insights into economic contexts and hands-on learning.

Students from Switzerland and Liechtenstein up to the age of 20 can now demonstrate their knowledge in economics, finance, and business. The online qualification exam, which marks the entry point into the competition, is open now until October 5.
Those who pass this stage will take part in a one-day event in the second round, where they can deepen their knowledge and face new challenges. The most successful candidates will then move on to the Innovation Camp, which focuses on networking, creative problem-solving, and real-world business cases. The National Final will ultimately determine who will represent Switzerland at next year’s International Economics Olympiad in Suzhou, China.
